What Predicto is

Predicto is a Chrome extension that injects a research sidebar into PolyMarket event pages (polymarket.com/event/*), surfacing news, social sentiment, and cross-market data for the event you're viewing, plus the companion website at get-predicto.com. Predicto is operated by The Silverstein Group Ltd.

Data the extension accesses

The extension reads the PolyMarket event page you're currently viewing to determine which market to fetch data for. It does not read pages outside polymarket.com/event/*, and it does not collect or track your general browsing history — this is the only use it makes of page content, and it's required for the extension's single purpose of surfacing research for the market you're looking at.

To do this, it calls public, keyless APIs (PolyMarket, Reddit, Telegram, Wikipedia, Metaculus, Manifold, Kalshi) and the U.S. Federal Reserve (FRED) API to display market, news, social, and macroeconomic data. Responses are cached locally in your browser via chrome.storage to reduce redundant requests — this cache never leaves your device.

Account & payment data

Signing in uses Google sign-in, provided by our authentication processor Clerk — we receive your name and email address to identify your account. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; Predicto never receives or stores your card details.

If you subscribe, we store your subscription status and trial period with Clerk and Stripe so the extension can recognize your account. Data we share, and with whom:

• Clerk — authentication provider; holds your name, email, and Google account identifier.
• Stripe — payment processor; holds your billing details and payment history.
• Google — sign-in provider, per the Google Sign-In flow you initiate.

Google API data (Limited Use)

Predicto's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, share it with data brokers, or use it for personalized advertising. We don't track you across other websites. We don't inject ads.

Your data, your control

You can view and manage your subscription at any time from your account page. To request deletion of your account data, email us at the address below.
